Sailing

Sailing school

The Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita sailing school runs sailing activities all year round. The main aim of our sailing school is to promote these activities and instil positive values (such as self-improvement, effort, learning, team work, etc.).

We run activities for people aged 4 and above.

The activities organised by the sailing school fall within the ‘Optimist’, ‘Laser Pico’, ‘Dam 5.5’ and ‘Hobie Cat’ categories, in addition to stand-up paddle surfing and windsurfing.

We have been collaborating with different schools for several years now, whether on sailing baptisms or curricular activities. The main objective of this work is to promote and raise awareness of the activities that we carry out at the sailing school.

Regatta teams

In addition to our sailing school, we also have Optimist, Techno 293 and IQ FOIL regatta teams.

Our sailors train every weekend with a view to achieving their goals by the end of the season.

The Club organises and participates in local, regional, national and international regattas all year round in the aforementioned categories.

Cruises

Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita also promotes cruise sailing, with an extensive calendar of social, crewed and shorthanded regattas.

The Las Sabatinas league runs for much of the year. Increasing numbers of people are starting to participate, with this being the Club’s most social regatta.

We also organise crewed regattas such as the President’s Trophy or the Bodegas José Luis Ferrer regatta.

The most popular shorthanded regattas, meanwhile, are the Illa del Sec Trophy, ‘150 millas A2’ and ‘Vuelta a Cabrera en solitario’.
